Elephant ride

There are several elephant camps in Thekkady which offer visitors several fun activities. Elephant safari is one of the popular activities here. The elephants in the camps are well trained to follow the instructions given by the mahouts. One mahout will accompany the elephant while you are taking a ride. Also you can have your photos taken by the mahout while you are riding. The minimum duration of the ride is 20 minutes and the time duration depends on the package you have chosen. 2 to 3 people can ride on one elephant. The other activities are Elephant bathing, Elephant showering, Elephant feeding.
